Hello there, I’m Lisa Taylor. Thanks for stopping by!
I’m a software developer, speaker, engineer, gamer, and creator. I love diving into projects, whether it’s recreating classic arcade games, building real-time social media collaborations with public APIs, or experimenting with wearable electronics using various microcontrollers.
When I’m not coding or exploring the beautiful landscapes of New Zealand, I enjoy running coding sessions and giving talks at schools and universities. It’s awesome to help students get a glimpse of what it’s like to be a developer.
I’m not super active on social media, but I love connecting with fellow engineers and creators. If you’d like to chat about an idea or have questions about my projects, feel free to reach out on these platforms:

Hi Lisa!
This might seem like a sorta strange question, but do you do freelance development work?
I have a project that involves an Adafruit Flora and 16 LED NeoPixel ring that I wanted to get going in a couple of weeks time. With someone of your skill I can’t imagine it taking more than a days work. I could let you know what I need and you can tell me your fee.
What do you think? If you don’t have the time or not interested no worries! Thanks for your time, I look forward to your response.

Hi Eddie! I don’t usually do freelance development work. But I’m more than happy to help you out with any questions you may have or problems you encounter. After all, learning is part of the fun! Do you have your project plan documented anywhere that you could share?
